PRINTS / ORDER INFORMATION
All prints are made to order and usually takes 2-3 weeks to process and ship the order.
PRINT SPECIFICATIONS: Lustre and glossy photographs are printed on Silver Halide Photographic Fuji Professional Crystal Archive Super Type PD Luster, CD Glossy and Fuji Pearl Metallic, processed in Fuji Professional RA-4 chemistry. , and printed with the Durst THETA 76HS. Under normal lighting conditions (not direct sunlight or spotlights) the Wilhelm Institute has rated the Fuji Proffesional Crystal Archive II paper at 60-80 years.
MOUNTING: Photographs can be order unmounted or mounted. Unmounted photographs will be shipped and wrapped around a 2" cardboard tube, and inserted into a 3.5" diameter cardboard tube with 1/4" thick walls. Mounted photographs are available on 3/16” or 1/2” Gator Board. My recommendations are 3/16” for photographs up to 20”x30” and 1/2” above 20”x30”.
FRAMING: Sorry but I typically do not offer framing. I feel that frame choice is very subjective and style choices vary greatly from customer to customer.
LAMINATING: A clear High Gloss and Matte finish laminating is also available. I highly recommend that a clear laminated be applied to the photograph if it is to be mounted and not framed behind glass. The laminate gives that added amount of protection from the open elements, such as dirt, water, grease etc. A High Gloss laminated is very reflective and can show dust and surface scratches easily, but can look very nice on the right photograph. A Matte laminated shows very little reflection if none at all and resists surface scratching compared to the High Gloss laminate.
SHIPPING: Prices do not include shipping. Unmounted shipping typically runs $20-$25.00 for standard UPS ground delivery (US customers). Mounted photograph shipping typically runs $50-$100.00. Or you can arrange for local pickup.
